Last Summer I said a sad farewell to a loyal garment to my summer wardrobe- my strappy summer LBD. I had served me 6 years, and had seen happy memories in Ibiza, Zante and Miami- but it had faded an off black, and no longer required its service.
I have been eager to get a replacement for it- and finally Topshop (£36) have filled that void.

I am not normally a New Look fan, mainly because the small town where I live the two female clothes shops are Primark and New Look, so on a Saturday Night you are almost certainly going to be wearing the same as someone else.
However, I recently was amazed at a pair of shoes that I thought were from KG, turns out less than £30 from New Look. So against my better judgement I went on the New Look website and felt like I had entered Aladdin’s Cave! So much choice and at a last week before payday kind of budget. Here are my top pics.
I always struggle on what to wear in the office over the Summer months. Not only is the British weather wonderfully unpredictable, even when the sun is out the air-con is on full blast, there is the dilemma of what is/isn’t acceptable in an office environment. With Spring still not sprung Saturday I was faced with my first fashion dilemma of the year- what to year to a Spring wedding, when it isn’t Spring weather?! Do I go for style over substance, or practicality? With checking the weather each day, and with a back up dress, jacket and shoes ready the bride and groom were lucky the sun was shining and there wasn’t a grey cloud in the sky. Smiling through gritted teeth, we all pretended it felt as warm as the pictures lead to believe.
